Irish clubs bid for Euro glory
Ireland is set to make a double tilt at the biggest title in European club golf.
Defending champions Shandon Park and Irish Senior Cup winners Limerick are in action in the European Club Cup which begins in Rome on Wednesday.
Limerick have travelled without teen star Cian McNamara and opted instead for form players Mike Kemmy, Ger Vaughan and Michael O’Kelly.
Shandon Park, meanwhile, will have to choose three players from Alistair McKinley, Philip Purdy, Gary Lynas or Gary Wardlow.
