Westwood addicted to putters
By Brian Keogh
Lee Westwood says he's trying to kick his addiction - to putters.
The former European Open winner admits that he has 162 of them in his garage at home.
But he's decided to stick with the weapon that brought him his first victory for four years in Marbella last week.
He said: "I brought four with me this week. It's coming down. Five last week.
"I am using the black one again that I won with last week. Stay of execution."
Westwood was runner up to Colin Montgomerie in the Irish Open at Druids Glen in 1997
He said: "It's a shame the field is not as strong as normal. Still, it will be a very difficult tournament to win with the strength in depth of the European Tour."
