Teenager Leona Maguire beat Klara Spilkova of the Czech Republic one up to win the 36-hole final of the French Under 21 Lady Junior Championships at Paris St Cloud Golf Club. 

Leona, 14, won the U18 section of this championship last year but has now gone one better than sister Lisa who was beaten Finalist of the U21 section last year. 

Twins Lisa and Leona qualified comfortably in fifth and sixth place respectiely after scoring totals of 144, with rounds of 70 and 74 for Leona while Lisa reversed the sequence. Aedin Murphy (Carlow) fired a second round 73 but failed to qualify in the top 32 along with Woodenbridge's Louise Mernagh.
