Investors in the Paul McGinley designed Macreddin Golf Club in Co Wicklow are to sue the Brooklodge Hotel according to Ian Kehoe in the Sunday Business Post.

Eamonn Galavan, a Wexford businessman who paid €1 million for 40 membership preference shares, is now suing the main company behind the hotel, Durgman Entertainments. Galavan is also suing Brooklodge Estates and Firefly Properties.

He is claiming that the companies provided guarantees in relation to the financing of the golf course, and he is seeking compensation as a result of the receivership. Galavan is taking his case through the Commercial Court, which expedites multimillion euro business disputes.
