Eagle-eyed Harrington on the charge in Boston
Padraig Harrington spectacularly eagled the par-five 18th at TPC Boston when he holed a 56 footer from the fringe to move into contention in the second leg of the FedEX Cup play-offs, the Deutsche Bank Championship.
Starting on the back nine, the Dubliner began with six pars before holing a 20 footer at the 161-yard 16th to get into the red.
At the 528-yard 18th, he hit a 292 yard drive into the left rough but nailed a 235 yard five-wood to the left edge of the green and drained the putt with a little help from the flagstick.
That moved him briefly into a share of second place on three under par, two strokes adrift of early leader Scott Verplank.
