The Rosapenna Mixed Foursomes squad. Dromoland will play Rosapenna in the final of the Spanish Tourist Board sponsored Irish Mixed Foursomes at Clontarf.

The Munster champions beat Claremorris in a thrilling match that ended when Mark Hogan and Yvonne Shanahan clinched the anchor game for Dromoland against Richard Horan and Christina Rush on the final green.

Claremorris had earlier won the first two matches through the partnerships of Des Griffith and Riana Kean and Declan Lambe andMarie Healy, before Dromoland took charge with victories by Tony Cleary and Dorothea Madden and Declan O’Leary and Mary Arthur.

Rosapenna had a clear-cut, 4-1 victory over Rathfarnham with wins for Enda Kennedy and Dympna Kelly, Pat and Kit Boyce and Con Boyce and Suzanne Gallagher.
