Top field for Killarney Scratch Cup

Killarney Golf and Fishing Club’s Killeen Course has hosted the Irish Open and the Curtis Cup. Three rounds on golf on the Killeen Course at Killarney Golf and Fishing Club sounds fantastic. But when you add a fistful of World Amateur Golf Ranking points and a top prize voucher of €750, it’s a no-brainer. No wonder there’s high demand for places in the Killarney Senior Scratch Cup from 13-14 July.

Sponsored by the Killarney Plaza Hotel and Spa, a top class field is taking shape with 34 players off scratch or better already in the field.

Set to be played nine days before the Interprovincial Championship at Lee Valley, making it perfect parkland preparation, the event has already received entries from defending champion John Greene and the likes of Richard Bridges, James Fox, Niall Gorey, Stephen Healy, Mark Shanahan, Jeff Hopkins, Stephen Walsh, Alan Thomas, Geoff Lenehan ans Steffan O’Hara.
