Sixth for Lisa Maguire in European Individual

Lisa Maguire in action at Aura Golf in Finland this week. Slieve Russell’s Lisa Maguire finished joint sixth in the International European Ladies Amateur Championship in Finland.

The County Cavan star closed with a one over par 72 to end the week on level par 284, eight strokes behind winner Emily Pedersen of Denmark. Scores

Pedersen led by seven strokes overnight but had enough in a 72 to win by three shots from nearest challenger Laura Gonzalez Escallon of Belgium on eight under par.

Finland’s Krista Bakker, Celine Boutier of France and Spain’s Noemi Jimenez were third on two under.
