Ulster and Leinster dominate Under 15 Boys Interpros
Ulster and Leinster got off to winning starts in the Boys’ Under 15 Interprovincial Championship at West Waterford this morning.
Defending champions Ulster beat Connacht 4-1 win Marc McKinstry and Jack Madden 4 and 3 winners over Allan Hill and Sean Doyle in the foursomes before singles wins by Peter Cummins and Owen Crooks saw them over the line.
Leinster beat Munster 4-1 with Kevin Le Blanc, who retained his Irish Under 15 title on Wednesday, partnering Harry Duggan to a 4 and 3 win over Sean Enright and Conor Slevin in the foursomes.
The Leinster boys were strong again in the singles though Aaron Ryan got a point for Munster with a 6 and 4 win over Paul Kelly.
In this afternoon’s matches, Ulster face Munster with Leinster taking on Connacht.
