Tramore chasing European Club glory

Tramore will be bidding to become just the third Irish club to win the European Men's Club Trophy in Bulgaria this week.

International Robin Dawson is joined by Paul Flynn and Chris Butler at Pravets Golf Club, 40 miles east of Sofia, hoping to emulate Limerick (1980 winners) and Shandon Park (2000 & 2001) and lift the biggest club trophy in European golf. Past winners

It will be a tough task for the Waterford men with world amateur No 6, Italian Renato Paratore (+5.3), leading a Parco di Roma side with a combined handicap of an incredible +14.5 (Enrico Di Nitto +4.9/Michele Cea +4.3)
