Miele All Ireland Fourball — Cahir Park beat Tuam in a playoff to clinch the Miele All Ireland Fourball Championship at Naas.

The sides finished level at 2-2 which meant that the low handicap pairing from each team were forced to playoff and it was Cahir Park's Bernie Carroll and Yvonne Morrison who came up trumps, beating Lorna Mullally and Martina Casserly on the 20th.

European Senior Tour — Phil Golding carded a two under par 70 to claim his second European Senior Tour title at the rain-delayed French Riviera Masters.

He claimed a four-shot victory over Argentina’s Cesar Monasterio on 15 under par 20 at the Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort in Provence.
Ronan Rafferty was the leading Irish player, tied for 20th on three under after a 72 (€5,120) with Des Smyth (€4,023) tied 22nd on two under after a 76.
Denis O'Sullivan (72) tied for 37th on one over to pick up €2,120 with Philip Walton (€580) tied 63rd on eight over after a 73.
South-East Alliance — Alan Thomas claimed Senior Cup glory for Tramore last month but this time he was in action for Dungarvan and he showed he's lost none of his form by claiming the top gross prize in the first outing of the South East Alliance at Dungarvan Golf Club.
He started eagle-birdie-birdie to be four under after three holes while he had to settle for a two under 70, he still won by three shots from Castlemartyr's James Ormond.
