No joy for Irish in McEvoy Trophy
Overnight leader Haydn McCullen of England closed with rounds of 70 and 74 to win the prestigious Peter McEvoy Trophy at Copt Heath.
He finished on five under par 279, two strokes clear of compatriot Bradley Moore with Hermitage's Rowan Lester the best of the Irish brigade in 22nd place on 296 (67 77 77 75),
The Island's Kevin Le Blanc was 26th on the same score of 296 (71 72 75 78) with Mallow's James Sugrue 31st on 300 (71 76 77 76).
