Stephanie Meadow has signed with agents Blue Giraffe Sports as she continues her journey in the professional game at this week's Ricoh Women's British Open and will play in another major next month — the Wegmans LPGA Championship.

The Royal Portrush star, 22,  has joined the likes of Lexi Thompson in the US management stable, her playing partner the first two rounds at Royal Birkdale, and could well be an LPGA Tour player soon if she earn enough to break through into the equivalent of top 40 on the LPGA money list through.

With $271,373 in the bank for finishing third on her debut in the US Women's Open at Pinehurst No 2 last month, Meadow could earn her card with a top three finish this week.

With an invitation already in the bag for the next month’s $2.25 million Wegmans LPGA Championship at Monroe Golf Club in New York, she will certainly get more opportunities to earn the cash she needs — approximately $400,000.

According to Golfweek's Beth Ann Nichols, she plans to use some of her US Women's Open winnings to buy a BMW and will now have a full time caddie in Pinehurst looper Bradley Yutzy, who has no experience on tour.

“We can do it our way,” she told Golfweek. “He doesn’t have any preconceived notion of what we should be doing.”

There will be no equipment changes for the Callaway player, or in the way she has gone about her business so far in winning a record=breaking nine times for the Univeristy of Alabama.

“I think the biggest thing I learned is that what I’ve been doing is good enough,” she said of her lightning start in the professional ranks.

Having finished third in the Ladies European Masters at the Buckiminghamshire last week, Meadow appears to have take to the pro ranks with consummate ease.

Her pedigree was clear during her college career, which was outstanding.

With three of her first four starts in the pro ranks coming in majors, she's plainly a woman who's comfortable on the biggest stage.
