Bangor retained the Irish Junior Foursomes title with a hard-fought four-hole victory over Galway in the All-Ireland Final at Castlewarden.
In the semi-finals, Bangor saw off Baltinglass by a four-hole margin as Galway beat Mallow by three holes. But in the final it was Bangor who prevailed
Galway had taken a narrow lead after nine holes, but Bangor grew in confidence on the back nine and took the ascendancy in both matches, clinching victory when Andrew Moore and Corrie McAllister - three up playing the 16th - got the decisive half to clinch victory.
