Pádraig Harrington is down another nine spots to 276th in the world rankings after losing his PGA Tour card by missing the cut in the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro.

Rory McIlroy (1), Graeme McDowell (16) and Shane Lowry (60) are the only Irish players in the world's top-100 with Michael Hoey the next best at 175th.

McIlroy and McDowell will be in action this week in the first event of the FedEx Cup playoffs, The Barclays, at Ridgewood County Club in New Jersey while on the European Tour, Simon Thornton, Damien McGrane, Gareth Maybin, Peter Lawrie, Kevin Phelan, David Higgins and Ruaidhri McGee have entered the D+D REAL Czech Masters at Albatross Golf Resort in Prague.

No Irish players qualified for the Challenge Tour's limited field, 40-man Rolex Trophy in Geneva, which gives players an advantage in the race for those coveted spots on the European Tour next year for the Top 20 in the Rankings.
