Further Details

  • Girls do not need any previous golfing experience to participate.  In a group of no more than 12 girls per Taster Session (approx. 50 mins duration), girls will have the opportunity to hit balls and interact with an ILGU Development Coach.  Following this, all girls who have attended a taster session and wish to play and learn more about the game will be offered a place in a Coaching Group with the ILGU Development Coach.
  • These coaching groups will consist of a maximum of 8 girls who will receive 5hrs of coaching (€35) over the months of March & April.  The coaching sessions will concentrate on developing basic skills in a fun and safe environment.
  • Upon completion of the coaching sessions, the ILGU will endeavor to link girls, who are not already a member of a club, with a local ILGU affiliated Club.  Follow on fun events will also be scheduled to keep participants involved throughout the season.
