Top 10 for LeBlanc in Mallorca; Galiano wins by five
The Island's Kevin LeBlanc will make another move up the world rankings after he finished tied for eighth in the Copa de Baleares in Mallorca on Sunday.
The Junior Open champion closed with a 77 to finish on seven over par 223 at Pula Golf, where Spain's Mario Galino triumphed by five shots.
Ranked eighth in the world, Galiano shot an incredible 64 on Saturday to take an nine stroke lead in the final round of an event reduced to 54 holes because of bad weather.
He eventually closed with a 75 to win by five strokes on eight under par 208 from compatriot Ivan Cantero with 14-year old Czech talent Matyas Zapletal, 224th in the world, third on level par.
Ireland's Tommy O'Driscoll was 47th on 237 after rounds of 78, 78 and 81.
