Junior Golf — Galway Golf Club followed in the footsteps of 2014 winners Mallow by claiming the Junior Inter-Club Home International Trophy in Spain.

The Connacht boys beat UK representatives Rochford Hundred Golf Club 4-2 in the final played at Golf Antequera in Málaga.
Runner up to Carton House in last year's All Ireland Fred Daly Trophy final, the team of Colm Hughes (4 up), Peter Fleming (4 up), Cathal Nolan (2 up), Mikey Burke (2 down), Paddy Culhane (2 down) and Michael O'Farrell (7 up) completed a memorable victory.
The event featured two qualifying clubs each from Wales (Garmarthen and Maesteg), Scotland (Turnhouse and Gullane), Ireland (Carton House and Galway) and England ( Huyton & Prescot and Rochford Hundred).

Italian Amateur Open — Ireland's Kevin LeBlanc and Tommy O'Driscoll are off the pace after the opening round of the Italian Amateur Open Championship in Sardinia.
Both played in windy afternoon conditions with reigning Junior Open champion LeBlanc missing a one foot putt in a two over 74 at Is Molas as O'Driscoll struggled off the tee en route to an 82. Scores
Finland's Lauri Ruuska shot a four under 68 to lead by one from Germany's Christian Braunig, compatriot Miki Kuronen and Robbie Van West of the Netherlands in what is a 72 hole event with a 54-hole cut.
