Round-up: Power and McCarroll start well; McNamara 16th in Morocco

Web.com Tour — Seamus Power is inside the Top 10 after opening with a two under 70 in the United Leasing Championship Presented by PTI in Indiana.

Ranked 121st in the money list, the 28-year old West Waterford man has missed five of the first seven cuts in his rookie year but he showed his class in the opening round at Victoria National Golf Club, making five birdies and three bogeys.

He's tied for ninth spot, three shots behind Tag Ridings. who has a one-stroke lead over Luke List and Michael Herbert.

Alps Tour — Ballyliffin's Brendan McCarroll finished with an eagle three to go into the second round of the Tunisian Golf Open just two shots off the lead.
The former East of Ireland winner had three birdies and a bogey to be two under playing the 630 yard ninth and finish with a three for a 68 and a four-way share of second.

He's just two strokes behind England's Josh Loughrey, who birdied his last found holes for a six under 66 on the Composite Course at El Kantaoui GC - Composite Course. 
It was a tough day, however, for 18 year old David Carey, who is tied 107th after struggling to a seven over 79.

EPD Tour — Headfort's Rory McNamara finished in a tie for 16th in the Open Madaef 2015 at Pullman El Jadida Royal Golf & Spa in Morocco.

The former international finished 10 shots behind the winner on six over after rounds of 72, 77 and 73, earning €457 as Mathieu Decottignies Lafon finished two clear of the field on four under and claimed the €5,000 top prize.

Mourne's Reeve Whitson missed the cut by three shots after rounds of 80 and 76.
