Take on Eddie McCormack for £35 - Ulster Mid-Am deadline extended (but only until Monday)

Eddie McCormack with the 2014 Ulster Mid Amateur Championship

Farnham Estate and Co Cavan are two of the finest parklands in Ulster and if you need another excuse to tee it up in the Ulster Mid Amateur Open from June 6-7, apart from the risible £35 entry fee for three rounds of golf plus practice rounds, denying Eddie McCormack another win could be a fun challenge.

Now playing out of Galway but a proud Cavan man, Eddie won by six strokes last year despite running up a 10 at the par-five 15th in the first round.

He finished  birdie-par-eagle for an opening 79 that day then added rounds of 66 and 74 to win by six from George Armstrong and Alan Condron.
