Round-up: Rollercoaster for Power; Slip up for McCarroll
Web.com Tour — Seamus Power had one birdie and one bogey on his front nine in the third round of the United Leasing Championship in Indiana. On the back it was a complete rollercoaster as he made just two pars in a wild ride that added up to a two over 74.
As a result, the West Waterford man fell one spot to tied 54th on five over at Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh. He's 16 shots behind leader Smylie Kaufman.
Power's back nine of two over 38 featured three birdies, three bogeys and a killer double bogey six at the 18th, where he found water off the tee.
Kaufman shot 64 to lead by four shots from Ryan Spears.
Alps Tour — A slow start out paid to Brendan McCarroll's hopes of challenging for victory in the Tunisian Golf Open.
Three bogeys in his first seven holes left him with a lot of work to do and while he got back to level for the day with four oles to go, he bogeyed the 17th for a 73 that leaves him six strokes off the pace. Scores
