Ireland outside medal places in Korea

Ireland's men's and women's teams are outside the medal places after the first round of the World University Championships in Korea.

The men's team is fourth, six shots behind leaders Thailand and two outside third after Stuart Grehan shot a two under 70 and Sean Flanagan posted a level par 72 with Alex Gleeson's 74 discarded. Scores

In the women's championship, Ireland are in 13th place in 155, 14 shots behind Chinese Taipei who lead by two shots from Japan and by there from South Korea. Women's scores

Sinead Sexton shot 77 and Jessica Ross 78 with Sarah Helly's 79 discarded.
