Portmarnock’s Adrian Morrow captured the European Seniors’ Championship for the third time in eight years when he closed with a five over 77 to deny England’s Clive Jones a third consecutive win in the event in Mallorca.

Leading by three stroke from Jones with a round to go, Morrow finished on one over par 217 as Jones shot 75 to take second on 218 at Pula Golf.

Douglas’ Karl Bornemann was solo third on 219 after a 71, the joint best round of the final day.
