Grehan four behind in Estonia

Tullamore’s Stuart Grehan is four shots off the lead at the halfway stage of the European Amateur Championship in Estonia.

Only Alex Gleeson made a move forward on day two, carding a one under 71 to climb 28 spots to tied 55th on level par.

Maynooth University player Grehan carded a level par 72 to slip eight spots to tied 21st on three under par as Germany’s Thomas Rosenmuller (67), Scotland’s Craig Ross (67), England’s Gian-Marco Petrozzi (70) and Poland’s Adrian Meronk (70) head the leaderboard on seven under 137.

The pace-setters are a shot ahead of Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre (66), the Czech Republic’s Simon Zach (69) and Catalan Adria Arnaus (71).

Naas’ Conor O’Rourke also shot 72 to share 32nd on two under par with Paul McBride tied 45th and Kevin LeBlanc 83rd as they both shot 73s.
