Pádraig Harrington closed with a bogey-free 66 to finish tied 54th behind PGA TOUR rookie Austin Cook in The RSM Classic at Sea Island.

The Dubliner, 46, made four birdies in an immaculate, season-ending round at the Georgia venue, finishing on four-under-par as Cook closed with two birdies for a three-under 67 and a four-shot victory from JJ Spaun on 21-under-par.

Cook had a three-shot lead at the start of the final round and made only his second bogey of the week from the bunker on the second hole at the Seaside Course.

But there were to be no more mistakes and after a birdie four at the seventh, he two-putted birdie on the 15th and made a 15-footer on the 17th before making a 14-footer at the last.
