McDowell and Power nine adrift in Las Vegas
Graeme McDowell made six putts outside six feet to card a second successive 70 to share 22nd place with Seamus Power heading into the third round of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas.
The Portrush man, 38, made three birdies and two bogeys, holing from 11 feet at his final hole for par to move up 23 places on the leaderboard after a 28-putt round at TPC Summerlin.
Power had a tough day on the greens, three-putting twice in a level-par 71 to join McDowell on two-under-par.
They were nine shots adrift of clubhouse leader JJ Spaun, whose 65 gave him a three-shot lead over Kelly Kraft on 11-under before play was suspended due to darkness.
