Power caresses top 10 in Las Vegas

Seamus Power

Seamus Power made three birdies in his last six holes to share 18th with a round to play in the Shriners Hospitals for Children Open in Las Vegas.

Tied 23rd at halfway, the West Waterford man struggled early on and hit just two greens in regulation on the front nine, dropping three shots in a row from the second.

But he bounced back well on the back nine at TPC Summerlin, holing from outside 10 feet for birdies at the 13th, 15th and 16th to card a level par 71 and go into the final round tied for 18th on two-under-par, just one shot outside the top 10.
