Rain washes out round two in women's NCAAs
Duke University and Leona Maguire have work to do to make the matchplay stages of the NCAA Division One Women's Championship at Rich Harvest Farms.
The top eight teams qualify for the matchplay after the strokeplay qualifier which has been reduced from 72 to 54 holes after rain washed out round two in Sugar Grove, Illinois.
Leona opened with a five-over 77 on Friday and shares 19th place, five shots behind leaders August Kim (Purdue) and Elodie Van Dievoet (Michigan) with the Duke Blue Devils tied for 19th, 11 shots out of eighth place on 37-over-par.
Arizona State's Olivia Mehaffey carded a seven over 79 in round one for a share of 44th with Duke's Lisa Maguire tied 80th after an 82.
Arizona State shares third place overall on 23 over, just 12 shots behind leaders Northwestern, who lead by two from Kent State.
