Duke pips Kelly for Munster Seniors on countback
Killiney's Nigel Duke edged out Naas' Maurice Kelly on a countback to win the Munster Seniors Amateur Open at Lee Valley.
Both golfers shot a one over par 73 but Duke claimed the title by virtue of his better back nine yesterday — one-under par to Kelly's level par.
Greystones' Barry O'Leary was third on two over with Tramore's John Mitchell fourth on four over.
Kelly won the Munster Veterans trophy.
