Murphy six back at Faldo Series Grand Final

Rosslare’s Paul Murphy is sixth overall heading into the final round of the Faldo Series Grant Final in Abu Dhabi.
He added a two-over 72 to his opening 69 to trail Taipei’s Chen Ting-Yu and promising Welsh youngster, Toby Bishop by six shots on one-over par at Al Ain Equestrian Shooting & Golf Club.
However, he is just two shots behind England’s George Goddard in the Under 21 section, tied for second with Pakistan’s Ahmed Baig and Germany’s Nils Dobrunz.
Cork’s Rachel Thompson is tied 24th on five-over after a 72 — tied sixth in the girls’ Under 21 competition— with Royal Dublin’s Max Kennedy tied 30th on six-over after second round 76 and tied eighth in the Boys Under 18 section.
Chen and Bishop lead by two strokes on five-under par from England’s Ebonie Lewis.
