In-form Moriarty shines at Cahir Park
Glasson's Colm Moriarty

Glasson's Colm Moriarty

Colm Moriarty posted a six under par 65 to win the Cahir Park Golden Jubilee Pro-Am and claim his sixth win of the season.

The Glasson professional finished two shots ahead of Tulfarris Golf Resort's Simon Thornton and Bundoran's Adam Dunmore.

Moriarty carded a six under par 66 at the recent Cork Pro-Am but it was only good enough for a share of first place alongside Thornton.

The 39-year-old couldn't be matched at the Tipperary venue on this occasion, carding seven birdies with his one dropped shot coming at the final hole of his round, the par three 16th.

Limerick's Tim Rice and amateur partners Gary Morrison, Paul Hickey and Yvonne Morrison won the team prize with 95 points.
