Roscommon get second AIG Senior Foursomes chance

Roscommon will be hoping it's a case of second time lucky when they face Laytown and Bettystown in the AIG Senior Foursomes final at Knightsbrook Hotel and Golf Resort today.
The Connacht champions lost a tight final to Killarney last year but they look ready to go one better following their 2.5-0.5 win over Shandon Park as the Co Meath ladies saw off Kilkenny by the same margin.
Malone will also be looking to pick up two or the three trophies they're targeting when they face Monkstown in the AIG Minor Cup final and Douglas in the Intermediate Cup decider.
Elsewhere, Ballina beat Castletroy 2-1 thanks to a 21st hole win from Dolores Tuohy and Bertha Cooke and now face Courtown in the Junior Foursomes semi-finals where Shandon Park takes on Beaverstown.
East Cork made the AIG Junior Cup semi-final while Fintona beat Tramore 4-1 to set up an AIG Challenge Cup semi-final clash with Macroom tomorrow.
