Keating cruises to five-shot win in Munster Boys
Seapoint's Dylan Keating closed with a level par 72 to win the Munster Boys Championship by five strokes at Ballybunion's Cashen Course.
The Boys international (17) laid the foundation for his win with a stunning, seven-under 65 in the second round and he was never in danger of failing to close out victory.
He finished on level par 216 with Edmondstown’s Liam Abom (69) and Roscommon’s Thomas Higgins (70) second on five-over.
Roscommon’s Simon Walker was fourth on six-over as he fought back from an opening 81 by following a 73 with a closing 68.
His four-under closing round was matched by Killiney’s Cian O’Sullivan, who tied for fifth with Connemara’s Luke O’Neill on eight-over.
