Turner earns PGA Tour China status; Phelan misses out on Mackenzie Tour
Muskerry’s Niall Turner earned conditionally-exempt status for the first six tournaments of the PGA Tour Series-China season.

He will join fellow Cork man Brian O'Donovan (31), who finished 92nd on the money list last year, when the PGA Tour Series-China begins later this month.
Waterford Castle's Kevin Phelan earned conditional status on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica in January, but there was no luck for the former Walker Cup player in the recent Mackenzie Tour-PGA Tour Canada Q-School.
The Waterford man finished tied 62nd in the Central qualifier at TPC San Antonio in Texas on March 1, carding rounds of 77, 74, 76 and 73 to finish on 12-over par. Scores
