Time running out to enter Balbriggan Senior Scratch Cup
Time is running out to enter next Sunday’s egallité-sponsored Balbriggan Senior Scratch Cup where €1,500 in prizes will be up for grabs.
Inaugural winner Keith Murphy and defending champion Marc Nolan will tee it up on July 14 and with Balbriggan hosting the Leinster Mid Amateur Open Championship in 2020, the 36-hole event gives competitors an ideal opportunity to play the course in tournament conditions.
The pristine, par-72, 6,637-yard parkland course will be set up to reward attacking golf, which should mean healthy competition for the €500 top prize in the Senior Scratch Cup.
The handicap limit for the Senior Scratch Cup is three (3) with the Junior Scratch Cup reserved for 4-9 handicaps.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gross; 1st Nett; 1st & 2nd 18s Gross.
