Elm Park's Anna Foster made it through to the last 16 of the Girls' Amateur Championship at Panmure as Royal Dublin's Max Kennedy and Black Bush's Sean Doyle qualified for the last 32 of the Boys' Championship at Saunton.

While Beth Coulter fell in the first round and Aine Donegan in the second, Foster beat both Swiss Anouk Casty and England's Thalia Kirby 2&1 and now takes on England's Euphemie Rhodes for a place in the quarter-finals.

In Devon, Doyle beat Mullingar's Adam Smith on the 18th in the first round and Spain's Javier Neira Garcia at the 20th to set up a last 32 clash with Welsh international Archie Davies.

While Dundalk's Josh Mackin, Roganstown's Joshua McCabe and Baltinglass' James Byrne all lost in the preliminary round and Ryan McNelis fell in the second, Kennedy beat England's William Skipp 2&1 to set up a last 16 meeting with Norway's Alexander Settemsdal.
