England in command at Senior Men's Home Internationals
England moved closer to regaining the Senior Home Internationals when they beat Wales 7-2 on the second day at Alnmouth Golf Club in Northumberland.
The reigning senior men’s European champions go into their final match against Scotland as the only team with a one hundred percent record after the Scots lost 6-3 to Ireland.
England will claim the title if they beat Scotland while Ireland play Wales after making amends for their defeat against England.
Ireland won the morning foursomes 2 ½ – ½ and went on to collect 3 ½ more points in the singles.
