Blackrock College retain Leinster title in Irish Senior Schools Championship
Blackrock College will have a chance to avenge their defeat in last year’s All Ireland final after they retained their Leinster title in the Irish Schools Senior Championship final at Delgany.
The Dublin school was beaten 4-1 by RBAI in last year’s All Ireland decider at Portstewart but the blue and whites will have a chance to lift the title again this year after they beat St Benildus College 3-2 in the Leinster decider on Thursday.
Blackrock will tee it up in the All Ireland semi-finals at Macroom Golf Club in Co. Cork on April 21.
CBS Roscommon won the third successive Connacht title in October while Colaiste Choilm Ballincollig won the Munster Senior Schools title.
The Ulster champions will be decided in early April.
