Whitehead’s John Ross Galbraith carded a two-under 70 to win the Flogas Irish Scratch Series outing on the Ryder Cup course, Palmer North, at The K Club.

The former Irish Close champion had a shot to spare over European Tour player Johnathan Caldwell from Clandeboye, who edged out Tullamore’s Stuart Grehan for the second gross after a countback.

One handicapper Roy O’Riordan won the first nett with a 73 while David Ryan took the second nett after a countback with a 74 off six.

The next outing is on October 19.  The venue and timesheet will be published on the Flogas Irish Scratch Series twitter feed on Wednesday.
