Kinsale’s John Murphy claimed his second win for the University of Louisville when he finished joint top in the weather-reduced Dorado Beach Collegiate in Puerto Rico.
Murphy, who claimed his maiden win at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati in October, made nine birdies in a seven-under 65 to share top spot with Kansas’ Ben Sigel at Dorado Beach Resort and Club .
The pair were declared joint winners after the final two rounds were scrapped due to heavy rain.
Oughterard’s Devin Morley tied for 58th after shooting a two-over-par 74.
Delighted to get another individual and team win out in Puerto Rico! Shoutout to the weather for the help 💦 pic.twitter.com/VeRDxDDTEn
