McCormack wins Straffan Pro-Am
Brian McCormack Jnr carded a six-under 66 to win the Straffan Pro-Am as the PGA in Ireland professionals returned to action following the COVID-19 lockdown at The K Club’s Palmer South Course.
McCormack Jnr won by one stroke from Glasson’s Colm Moriarty and Banbridge’s Richard Kilpatrick with Naas-based touring professional Conor O’Rourke claiming fourth with a four-under 68.
David Higgins (Waterville Golf Links), Damian Mooney and Jimmy Bolger (Kilkenny Golf Club) also started the season well with three-under 69s and a share of fifth.
