Golf Ireland has announced the Underage High Performance and Performance Development squads for 2022.

There are three Underage High Performance squads for Boys (U18 and U16) and Girls (U18)

Five regions will also be the base for Performance Development squads (Boys U17 and U15 and Girls U17).

Over 100 players from 62 clubs in all four provinces (plus one in Spain) have been selected for the High Performance and Performance Development squads.

Douglas Golf Club has five players on different squads  — Jack Murphy and James Walsh on the national High Performance Under 18 squad, and Sean Reddy in the U16 squad, as well as Sean Deasy on the South U17 squad and Barry O’Connell on the South U16 squad.

Galway Bay has two players on the U18 Boys squad in Adam Challoner and Luke Cunningham as well as Caolan Coleman and Rory Gallagher on the West U15s.

Clubs such as Ballinasloe, Ballykisteen, Belvoir Park, Black Bush, Clandeboye, Co Sligo, Edmondstown, Elm Park, Fota Island, Holywood, Hilton Templepatrick, Laytown & Bettystown, Kinsale, Knock, Malone, Massereene, Moyola Park, Naas, Oughterard, Royal Belfast, Royal Portrush and Tullamore are also well represented.
