Irish Scratch Series to celebrate Christmas outing at Powerscourt on December 22

The Flogas Irish Scratch Series will celebrate its Christmas outing at Powerscourt Golf Club on December 22.

There will be a guaranteed first gross prize of €500 and entry is €35 for professionals and amateurs and €25 for members.

The maximum handicap allowed is 10 for ladies and six for men.

Past winners of Irish Scratch Series events include Solheim Cup star Leona Maguire, Conor O’Rourke, Ronan Mullarney, Lauren Walsh, John Hickey, Marc Boucher, John Ross Galbraith, Andrew Doyle and Dylan Keating.

The series has attracted some of the top ladies and mens professionals and amatuers in the country with players such as Jonathan Caldwell, Paul Buckley, Aine Donegan, Paul McBride, Robin And Anna Dawson, Beth Coulter, Brendan Lawlor, Olivia Mehaffey, Stuart Grehan, Max Kennedy, Anna Foster and many more all participating.
