Rosslare Golf Club's Jamie O'Sullivan has teamed up with fellow PGA professionals to give golf lessons and raise cash to help refugees from the war in Ukraine.

Participating professionals will give lessons all over Ireland this Thursday to golfers who donate any amount to Concern via https://fundraise.concern.net/golflessonsforukraine.

"We have all been shocked and dismayed at the horrific scenes going on in Ukraine at the moment that is resulting in millions of men, women and children being made refugees overnight," said O'Sullivan, who is hoping to raise as much as €25,000 towards the refugee crisis.

"We want to donate a day's work, giving golf lessons for Ukraine. Our golf lesson customers on March 24 will donate to this fundraising page rather than pay us for their golf lessons. “
