Keeling third, Murphy 34th in Portuguese Amateur

Teenager Sean Keeling accrued more valuable WAGR points when he finished solo third in the Portuguese International Amateur Championship at Montado Golf Resort.
The 16-year-old Roganstown star, currently ranked 932nd in the WAGR. closed with a one-over 73 to finish on eight-under-par, eight strokes behind Spain’s Angel Ayora, who won by six shots from England’s Jack McPhail on 16-under par.
Another teenager, Douglas’ Jack Murphy, was 34th on five-over after a 79.
