Lahinch all set for 122nd South of Ireland with entries closing on June 26
Lahinch is gearing up for the 122nd staging of the South of Ireland Amateur Open Championship from July 24-28.
A field of 150 of Ireland’s leading amateur golfers will play in the 36-hole strokeplay qualifier on Wednesday and Thursday, July 24-25 with the top 64 qualifying for the matchplay stage of the competition from Friday,
The action concludes with the semi-finals and final on Sunday, July 28.
Pierse Motors Volkswagen, based in Tipperary and Ennis, continue their sponsorship of Ireland’s oldest Championship.

The closing date for entries is midnight on Wednesday, June 26.
