Honda disaster for Harrington
Padraig Harrington's Honda Classic hopes ended in the triple bogey blues at Palm Beach Gardens.
Just five shots behind leader Mark Wilson starting out, Harrington slumped a massive nine shots behind the qualifying school graduate and Argentina's Jose Coceres at the turn.
All the damage was done in the space of six madcap holes as Harrington turned in four over par 39 at the PGA National Resort and Spa in Florida.
The Dubliner started by sandwiching and eagle three at the third between bogeys at the second and fifth.
But the real killer came at the 488 yard sixth, where he ran up a nightmare triple bogey seven.
The European No 1 hooked his drive into a lake before bunkering his fourth shot from the middle of the fairway and taking three more to get down,.
Another bogey at the par-three seventh relegated him from seventh overnight to tied 30th on three over par in the $5.5 million event.
