Keith Nolan's miserable start to the Nationwide Tour season continued with a sixth missed cut on the trot.

The Bray battler, 34, crashed out of the South Georgia Classic at the weekend after rounds of 76 and 73.

Nolan grabbed his card for the second tier US Tour at last season's Q-School.

But his high hopes of earning a return to the PGA Tour have been left in tatters by short hitting and poor putting.

Nolan has yet to break 70 and bettered par just once in 16 rounds.

And while he is ranked third for driving accuracy, he is a lowly 134th for driving distance and 108th for putting.
