Harrington helps Furyk
Padraig Harrington will get some vital US Open practice when he clashes with Jim Furyk, Charles Howell and Retief Goosen in Philadelphia on June 4.
Former US Open champion Furyk has asked the Dubliner to play in his annual Exelon Invitational charity bash at the ACE Club - just a week before the season's second major at Oakmont.
Furyk said: "Padraig and I have competed on the PGA Tour and in Ryder Cups for some time now. I'm looking forward to having him on my home turf this year.
"Both he and Charles Howell III represent one of the finest fields that has ever appeared at this event, golf fans are in for a treat.
"With the addition of Retief, this is the highest ranked foursome in our nine year history, a true testament of the event's success."
Harrington will head from Philadelphia to Memphis for the Stanford St Jude Classic before touching down in Pittsburgh for the US Open, where he is rated a 33-1 shot behind favourite Tiger Woods.
