Carr to promote Killeen Castle

Sharpshooter Roddy Carr has been called in to boost the profile of Killeen Castle ahead of the 2011 Solheim Cup.

The former IMG agent and son of the legendary JB Carr will market and promote the Jack Nicklaus venue in Meath.

Killeen Castle's Brian Wallace said: "He brings 25 years international experience in the golf business as a player of distinction, events promoter and a respected sports marketing and tourism expert."

Carr added: "It will be great for me and my wife Patty and young children to return to Ireland after so many years living abroad."
